Y2K Spitfire Fundraising

The Y2K Fundraising committee is pleased to announce the availability of an exciting new limited edition signed and numbered unframed print.

This 19” x 24” framed print is a depiction of the Y2K pilot F/L Arnold “Rosy” Roseland 442 Squadron, RCAF in action on June 30, 1944. Roseland shot down two FW 1-90’s on this day while piloting Y2K near Caen. His Spitfire was flying a sortie in support of Canadian Army ground forces. Each print is numbered and signed by Vancouver Island artist Gordon Pynn.

We are pleased to announce that several notable RCAF/RAF Spitfire Pilots have agreed to sign our print. These include Don Laubman 402, 412 Sqns; Doug Lindsay 403, 416 Sqns; Ken Lett 402 Sqn; Jim O’Toole 402, 443 Sqns; Charlie Fox 410, 412 Sqns; and Len Wilson 126, 127, 442 Sqn. We also have James (Stocky) Edwards 92, 94, 260, 274, 417 Sqns; Duke Warren 66, 165, 403 Sqns; Kit Carson 290, 412 Sqns; Art Sager 416, 421, 443 Sqns; Jan Pomietlarz 306 Sqn, Bob Middlemiss 41,145,249, 403 Sqns.

This multiple signed unframed print will be available for a minimum donation of $195 plus postage and shipping. The print will be mailed in a mailing tube to your address of choice. The print edition was limited to 500 prints. Each print will come with a certificate of authenticity as well as a short bio on all the signatures. We look forward to filling your orders.

Each copy is printed on the finest acid resistant paper available and would grace any boardroom, den or office.
