Donors NeededThe Y2K Spitfire Restoration Project is a daunting undertaking that we can not do alone. The many volunteers here in the Comox Valley who are willing to supply their expertise, time, and muscle will go a long way toward getting Y2K back in the air, but funding is necessary to complete the project. A variety of grants have been applied for but the bulk of the monies has to come from donors like you. There are several ways to donate. Donate Securely OnlineWe are pleased to announce a new and easy way to donate to our project. The Y2K Spitfire Restoration Project is now registered with CanadaHelps.org, a not-for-profit charity organization which assists thousands of charitable organizations in Canada by being their one-stop location for people to donate to the charity of their choice. Donations can be made using your credit card, in a safe and easy manner. If you wish to donate to us through this means, click on the link below. This will bring you to the page for the Comox Air Force Museum Association which is the fundraising arm of our project and the Comox Air Force Museum. Please follow the instructions and when the message option appears, please note in the message box that your donation is for the Y2K Spitfire Project.
Donations Are Tax DeductibleAll donations are charitable donations for income tax purposes. Your contribution can play a vital part in preserving our aviation heritage and honour the memory of RCAF personnel, and their allies, who flew to victory in WWII. Donations can be made in person at the Comox Air Force Museum located at 19 Wing Comox, in Comox, BC. For your convenience and ease in submitting your information with your donation, we have developed a Donor Information Form
If you would prefer to contribute by credit card please use the online donations option. Please DO NOT send us your private credit card information.
